Bibliography – MACDONALD DON NYIRONGO

From the warm heart of Africa hails MacDonald Don Nyirongo. Born and raised in Zimbabwe, he eventually migrated to Malawi and has love for both countries. He has lived in affluent as well as society in which resources are scarce, and perceives what poverty is. His love for the less fortunate and disadvantaged people, led him to the formation of Warm Hearted Connections INC.

He graduated with a Master of Business Administration from Bethel University in Mishawaka Indiana USA. By Bethel being a Christian University with outstanding Christian values, and ranked number two on the National list of “50 Best Value Christian Colleges and Universities,” he has learned and strongly believes that God is the author of business, and that its main purpose is to honor Him, serve His people, and finally to make a profit to sustain business. The ranking was compiled by Christian Universities Online.

Before migrating to the United States of America in April 2004, he worked for MANICA Malawi Limited, Lilongwe Container Depot as Terminal Manager from 2000 to 2004. Previously, he worked for Belgium owned freight company AMI (AgenciaMaritimaInternacional) Malawi Limited from 1991 to 2000 as Depot Controller. He holds advanced diplomas in Port Management, Liner Trades and Shipping Law from the Institute of Chartered Ship Brokers London. Don also holds Associate and Bachelor of Sciences Degrees from Bethel University Mishawaka Indiana.

He has extensively traveled in Sub-Saharan Africa, especially countries such as Zambia, Mozambique, Kenya, Tanzania, Congo and South Africa, and affirmed that poverty, illiteracy, disease, and hunger know not any geographic boarders. Besides English, he speaks vernacular languages such as Shona, Chichewa, Tumbuka, Nyanja, and Swahili. His favorite music is Jazz and Blues, and in his spare time he likes to read books and learn new things. He also loves to watch soccer, basketball, and American football. Don plays table and lawn tennis.
